The development of the Congolese tourism industry depends on the existence, the regular maintenance of infrastructures and a good attractive tourism policy capable of attracting more domestic and foreign tourists, said on Friday. ACP, an expert from the Ministry of Tourism who requested anonymity.

This expert believes that the Congolese state should not let the private invade and monopolize this sector because, according to him, this sector is an area of ​​sovereignty of the State and can generate invaluable incomes capable of boosting the economy of the country.

“The Democratic Republic of Congo has several natural parks where countless endemic animal and plant species live in complete freedom, the DRC is full of illustrious monuments and tourist sites that retrace the country’s ancient and recent history. The flyovers that are being built in the city of Kinshasa under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Felix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, are not only utilitarian works, but also tourist monuments.

All this must be maintained and made attractive in order to attract tourists, “said the expert, adding that the Congolese state will have to think about adopting a policy of development of the innovative tourism industry.
