Democratic Republic of Congo’s president still didn’t form his own Cabinet, Deutsche Welle reported. The presidential election in DRC brought a victory to Felix Tshisekedi but he still rules without ministers.

Since December when DRC people gave their voices for Felix Tshisekedi, the performance of the national leader is up for scrutiny. He has yet to name nor prime minister neither cabinet despite notching up his first 100 days in office.

Last December marked Congo’s first peaceful transition of power since independence from Belgium in 1960, so, people are impatiently waiting for him to fulfil the many promises he made at his inauguration, most notably to fight corruption, install a fair judicial system and improve living conditions for the Congolese.

Meanwhile, the 86 million people of the African country is watching how the new president launched an emergency program focused on improving the road infrastructure, but also covering energy, education, housing, employment, transport, health, water and agriculture. According to the preliminary plan, Mr Tshisekedi promised to repair 40 per cent of roads in and around the capital Kinshasa.

meanwhile, RC’s citizens are still waiting on the schools, hospitals and streets Tshisekedi promised during his first 100 days. Many Kinshasa residents have also said they are disappointed with Tshisekedi’s performance so far and said he hasn’t done anything. Meanwhile, the economic crisis in DRC is deepening month by month, say the experts.
