“PLUS FORTES” movement dedicated to Congolese women: Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi


Based on four themes highlighting the education, health and entrepreneurship of Congolese, the first born of the foundation “Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi” was launched this May 16 at the Grand Hotel Kinshasa.

The first axis dedicated to education aims to encourage the training of girls in science (STEM) as well as new information technologies “. In health, the focus is on supporting women with silent diseases such as cancer, obstetric fistula and sickle cell disease. With regard to gender-based violence (GBV), the aim is to encourage changes in the behavioral patterns of men and boys to advocate for gender equality. Finally, the focus on empowerment aims to encourage and support women’s entrepreneurship.

In addition, the first lady invited all the audience to give as much love as possible to each activity and in each sector because ” love is simply love, only when it is given ” she said. hammered.

The ceremony closed with an auction of artistic paintings and an estimated donation of $ 600,800.
